What Is Door Bolting?
Door bolting happens when a dog has learned that the front door opening is a starting gun. The root cause is almost always simple: the dog has never been taught that doors require permission.
In Scottsdale's newer communities and Cave Creek's more rural stretches, the stakes for door bolting are different but both serious. Arizona's climate makes a bolted dog in summer conditions a genuine emergency, not just an annoyance.
