How Does Transform Camp Work?
Assessment + Check-In
- Before check-in we will verify Bordetella, Rabies, and Distemper/Parvo vaccinations for your dog(s).
- You will fill out detailed information about your dog’s history, triggers, and aggression patterns on our Pet Parent Portal.
- On check-in day, our team will conduct a thorough behavioral assessment to establish a baseline and develop a customized training plan.
- We will confirm your dog’s feeding schedule, medication needs, and any other special requirements.
- We will discuss your goals, expectations, and timeline so we can tailor the program to your specific needs.
Training + Demos
- In Transform Camp, your pup will receive over an hour of active training each day focused on aggression modification, desensitization, and counter-conditioning.
- Your dog will participate in 3+ structured training sessions daily, each targeting specific behavioral goals.
- Between active sessions, your dog benefits from “modeling” on our Training Floor – learning calm, appropriate behavior by observing and being around well-trained dogs in a controlled environment.
- Treadmill training is available to help drain excess energy, reduce anxiety, and build confidence.
- Throughout the stay, you will receive periodic updates, photos, and progress reports so you can see the transformation happening.
- Private demonstration lessons are scheduled so you can observe the training techniques and begin learning how to handle your dog with confidence.
Transition
- The transition phase is critical – this is where we teach YOU to maintain and build on the progress your dog has made.
- You will attend 7 hours of private lessons where our trainers work directly with you and your dog together.
- You will also attend 12 hours of Pet Parenting Group Classes to strengthen your handling skills and reinforce training in social settings.
- 24 DayCamp days are included so your dog continues to practice appropriate behavior in a structured, supervised environment.
- We will provide you with a comprehensive take-home plan, equipment recommendations, and ongoing support.
- Our team remains available for questions and guidance as you continue the training journey at home.
Questions? We're Here to Help
Aggression cases are personal and complicated. Families across Scottsdale, Cave Creek, and the greater Phoenix area trust our team to listen, explain what Transform Camp can realistically achieve, and help decide if it is the right fit.
Dogs Other Trainers Refused to Take
“Our Cane Corso had multiple bites on his record and two trainers in Scottsdale had already turned us away. Partners took him into Transform Camp and 28 days later we have a dog we can actually live with. He’s not perfect — they were upfront about that — but he is safe and manageable and that’s everything.”
– Tony & Carla B.
“I genuinely thought we were going to have to rehome our Malinois because of his sibling aggression and stranger reactivity. Transform Camp was the last option we tried and it worked. The 7 hours of private lessons afterward were critical — I finally understand how to read him and stay in control.”
– Stephanie R.
“Three other trainers gave up on our German Shepherd mix before we found Partners. Transform Camp addressed the resource guarding and fear-based biting we had been living with for two years. The Cave Creek facility was calm and professional and the team gave us detailed updates throughout the whole stay.”
– Marcus H.

The real commitment: we will give your dog and your family everything we have — 28 years of expertise, our most experienced trainers, and a program built specifically for dogs other schools have given up on. We ask the same level of commitment from you.
Transform Camp dogs often have complex histories. Progress isn’t always linear — some behaviors take longer than others, and regression happens when practice stops. That’s why we build an ongoing support plan into every Transform Camp program, including Pet Parenting Classes, follow-up lessons, and DaySchool access at our North Scottsdale and Cave Creek campuses.
70,000+ dogs. ~2,000 five-star reviews. We take the dogs nobody else will — and we have the track record to prove it.
Financing Available
We understand that investing in your dog's training is a big decision. That's why we’ve partnered with leading financing providers to offer flexible payment plans that fit your budget. Ask our team about financing options when you schedule your consultation.
Management is a Long-Term Commitment
What Comes After Transform Camp?
Transform Camp achieved something extraordinary: your dog is safe to live with. But for dogs with aggression histories, management protocols are not optional — they are permanent. The progress made in camp can erode without structured, ongoing reinforcement in the environments where triggers live.
Your Transform Camp graduate does not need to be kept in a bubble. They need supervised, controlled exposure on a regular schedule — with professional trainers who know their history and can read the early signs of stress before a situation escalates.
- DaySchool Membership — 2–5 days per week in a trainer-supervised environment with controlled dog-to-dog interaction. For Transform graduates, DaySchool is where desensitization becomes durable. Our trainers work from your dog's full history and will monitor behavior patterns closely, keeping you informed of any shifts that need addressing.
- Pet Parenting Classes — Weekly group classes to sharpen your own handling and reading skills. With an aggression-history dog, your body language, timing, and environmental awareness matter. These classes build all three.
- Dog School Bus — A monthly add-on for DaySchool members. Consistent attendance is the single biggest predictor of long-term success — the bus removes scheduling as an excuse for missed days.
- Private Lessons — Ongoing one-on-one sessions for continued management protocol refinement. As your dog's world expands — new locations, new people, new dogs — private lessons let us prepare for each new scenario before it happens.
You did the hardest part. Don't let the momentum stop here.

Not Sure If Transform Camp Is the Right Fit?
Transform Camp is our most intensive program — but not every dog needs this level of intervention. Here is how to tell if a different program might be a better match.
- Behavior Camp — If your dog has behavioral issues like reactivity, anxiety, or resource guarding but has not bitten or shown severe aggression, our 21-night Behavior Camp may be all you need. It addresses the root causes of problem behavior without the longer timeline of Transform Camp.
- Foundation Camp — Just need basic obedience and better manners? If your dog is not showing behavioral or aggression problems and you simply want a well-trained, reliable companion, our 14-night Foundation Camp is the right starting point.
We will never put a dog in a more intensive program than they need. Take the quiz or schedule a free call and we will give you an honest recommendation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Transform Camp is built for severe aggression, bite history, and the highest-risk behavior cases we see. That includes dog aggression, people aggression, multiple bites, child reactivity, sibling aggression, resource guarding, territorial aggression, and fear-based behavior. If your dog's issues are serious but non-aggression based, Behavior Camp may be a better fit. For dogs that mainly need obedience and manners, see Foundation Camp.
Yes. Dogs should be about six months old so vaccinations are complete, but there is no maximum age restriction. We work with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
Choose Partners if your dog needs serious aggression work from a team that handles these cases every day. We have more than 28 years of experience, strong veterinary referral trust, and a process built for safety, realism, and owner education. Not sure if Transform Camp is the right level? Take the quiz for an honest recommendation.
For serious aggression cases, professional intervention is often worth it because safety and manageability are the real goal. Transform Camp is designed to reduce risk, improve handling, and give your household a realistic path forward. See full pricing details and ask about financing if needed.
Dogs sleep on raised Kuranda cots in either luxury suites or standard chain-link enclosures. We have 6x4 ft spaces for larger dogs and 4x4 ft spaces for smaller dogs, with clean water and regular rotations throughout the day. Transform Camp is available at both our Scottsdale and Cave Creek locations.
Yes in Scottsdale, and Cave Creek has an owner living on the same property overnight. That gives both campuses an emergency response plan and active oversight.
Dogs need Bordetella, Rabies, and Distemper/Parvo vaccinations before entering our facilities. We can verify records with your vet, through the Pet Parent Portal, or by email, and all vaccines should be given at least one week before arrival.
Bring enough food for the full stay, any medications, and anything else our team specifically requests. Bedding, toys, and most extras should stay home unless we tell you otherwise. Have questions? Contact our team before check-in.
