Our mission is to give every pet parent and their dog an extraordinary education and a lifelong, delightful relationship together. We are what's known as balanced trainers. Meaning we lean heavily to reward based training, but we also believe in telling a dog “No!” Our staff attend conferences and constantly refine their ongoing education as they strive to improve techniques and training methods.

Hello! My name is Hannah and I am the Head Trainer at Partners Shea/101. I consider myself to be “born and raised” at Partners. I began working here in 2017, first as an Animal Care Tech and Snake Avoidance Handler. Throughout the years, I have instructed Puppy and Me, level 1-3 group classes, as well as trained thousands of dogs ranging from household puppies to behavior modification cases.

There is a minimum age restriction of about six months which allows time to get all of their vaccinations done. However, there is no maximum age restriction because, despite the saying, you can teach an old dog new tricks.

Once you have selected your program, our team is happy to schedule your check-in with your instructor. We then collect a non-refundable deposit, verify vaccinations, and invite you to complete your Pet Parent Portal information. We serve dog owners throughout Scottsdale -- from Gainey Ranch and McCormick Ranch to Kierland, DC Ranch, and Pinnacle Peak -- so wherever you are, getting started is straightforward. We have raised Kuranda cots in either our luxury suites or standard chain-link enclosures. We have the options of 6x4ft enclosures for large dogs and 4x4ft for smaller dogs. Dogs always have access to clean water and are rotated frequently throughout the day.
Our Scottsdale location does have staff overnight in case of emergency. They are there to passively look over the dogs without disturbing their sleep. We don't have staff overnight at our Cave Creek facility, but one of the owners does live on the same property.
Some parents will bring in special diet food or medications for their dogs. Any bedding, toys, etc. can be left at home during boarding and training unless otherwise specified. Have more questions? Contact our Scottsdale team -- we're happy to walk you through the check-in process.
