Terms of Service
Please review these terms carefully before using our services. By enrolling in any Partners Dog School program, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Partners Dog School website (partnersdogs.com), services, programs, and facilities. By accessing our website or enrolling in any of our programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
2. Description of Services
Partners Dog School ("Partners Dogs," "we," "us," or "our") provides professional dog training, daycare, boarding, and related services at our locations in Scottsdale and Cave Creek, Arizona. Our services include but are not limited to:
- Training programs: Group classes (Puppy & Me, Level 1-3 Obedience, Canine Good Citizen), private training, Board & Train, DaySchool, Transform Camp, and behavior modification programs
- Daycare: Structured DaySchool programs with training, socialization, and enrichment
- Boarding: Overnight boarding with optional training add-ons
- Dog School Bus: Transportation service for DaySchool enrollees
- Rattlesnake avoidance training: Seasonal safety training using live, safely muzzled snakes
- Agility: Recreational and competitive agility classes
- Partners Dogs University (PDTU): Online courses and educational content
3. Enrollment and Registration
To enroll in any Partners Dogs program, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or have a parent/guardian complete enrollment on your behalf
- Provide accurate and complete information about yourself and your dog
- Provide current vaccination records for your dog, including rabies, distemper/parvo (DHPP), and bordetella, as required by the specific program
- Disclose any known behavioral issues, bite history, health conditions, or allergies your dog may have
- Complete all required enrollment forms and agreements prior to your dog's first day
We reserve the right to decline enrollment or discontinue services for any dog that we determine, in our professional judgment, poses a safety risk to other dogs, staff, or clients.
4. Booking, Scheduling, and Cancellation
Training Programs and Classes
- Class spots are reserved upon receipt of payment. Enrollment is not confirmed until payment is processed.
- Cancellations made more than 7 days before the program start date are eligible for a full refund or credit toward a future program.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the program start date may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the program cost.
- No-shows and cancellations after the program has started are not eligible for refunds.
DaySchool and Daycare
- DaySchool reservations require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellation.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged the full daily rate.
- Monthly DaySchool memberships are billed on a recurring basis and require 30 days' written notice to cancel.
Boarding
- Boarding reservations require a deposit at the time of booking.
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the check-in date will receive a full deposit refund.
- Cancellations within 48 hours of check-in may forfeit the deposit.
- Early pickups are not eligible for partial refunds for unused boarding nights.
Dog School Bus
- Bus service is available only to actively enrolled DaySchool members.
- Bus pickup and drop-off times are approximate and subject to traffic and route conditions.
- You must be present at the designated bus stop at the scheduled time. Missed pickups will not be rescheduled for that day.
5. Payment Terms
- All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice.
- We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as indicated at checkout.
- Recurring charges (memberships, subscriptions) will be billed automatically until canceled in accordance with these Terms.
- Outstanding balances must be settled before additional services can be booked.
6. Assumption of Risk and Liability
Dog training, daycare, boarding, and related activities involve inherent risks. By enrolling your dog in any Partners Dogs program, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Dogs may interact with other dogs and humans, and despite professional supervision, incidents including bites, scratches, injuries, or illness may occur.
- Partners Dogs uses balanced training methods that may include verbal corrections, leash guidance, and other tools appropriate to your dog's needs. All methods are applied humanely and professionally.
- Partners Dogs will exercise reasonable care in supervising your dog but is not liable for injuries, illness, or death that may occur during the normal course of services, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
- You are financially responsible for any damage your dog causes to Partners Dogs property, staff, other clients, or other dogs.
- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Partners Dog School, its owners, employees, trainers, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your dog's participation in our programs.
7. Health and Safety Requirements
- All dogs must be current on vaccinations as specified by the program requirements.
- Dogs showing signs of illness (vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, lethargy, or parasites) may be refused service and must be picked up promptly if symptoms develop while in our care.
- If your dog requires veterinary attention while in our care, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you. If we cannot reach you, we may authorize emergency veterinary care at your expense.
- Spay/neuter requirements may apply to certain programs. Dogs in heat are not permitted in daycare or group settings.
8. User Conduct
When using our website, facilities, or services, you agree to:
- Treat all Partners Dogs staff, trainers, clients, and animals with respect
- Follow all facility rules, safety protocols, and trainer instructions
- Not engage in abusive, threatening, or harassing behavior toward staff or other clients
- Not misrepresent your dog's behavioral history, health, or vaccination status
- Use our website only for lawful purposes and not attempt to access restricted areas or interfere with its operation
- Not scrape, copy, or reproduce website content without written permission
We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove individuals from our facilities for violations of these conduct standards.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Partners Dogs website, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, videos, course materials, training methodologies, and software, is the property of Partners Dog School or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent.
- Partners Dogs University (PDTU) course materials are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. Sharing, reselling, or redistributing course content is prohibited.
- The Partners Dogs name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of Partners Dog School. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
10. Website Disclaimer
Our website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Training information, articles, and educational content on our website are provided for general informational purposes only and do not constitute professional veterinary or behavioral advice for your specific dog.
11. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services:
- Informal resolution: You agree to first contact us directly to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Most concerns can be addressed quickly by contacting our management team.
- Mediation: If informal resolution is unsuccessful, the parties agree to attempt mediation before a mutually agreed-upon mediator in Maricopa County, Arizona.
- Governing law: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law principles.
- Jurisdiction: Any legal action arising from these Terms shall be filed in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Partners Dog School's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of our website or services shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Partners Dogs in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. In no event shall Partners Dogs be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
13. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
