Why choose us?

Discover what sets Partners Dogs apart in dog training and behavior support.

Is Reactive

Lunges, barks, or freezes around other dogs or people. Needs controlled exposure + counter-conditioning, not group play.
🌱

Is Newly Adopted

Fresh from a shelter, rescue, or breeder. Needs decompression + foundational skills before being thrown into group dynamics.
😟

Is Fearful or Anxious

Shuts down in crowds, hides under furniture, or panics when separated. Needs slow confidence-building in a predictable environment.
🚀

Is Too Aroused

Bites at leashes, jumps on everything, cannot self-regulate. Needs impulse-control reps + structured calm-down practice.
🔄

Is In Recovery

Coming off a behavior camp (Behavior Camp, Transform Camp, leash reactivity intensive) and needs continued daily structure to lock in progress.
👀

Needs Supervision

Your home situation has changed (new baby, surgery, divorce, travel) and your dog needs a calm structured daytime environment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Regular daycare assumes your dog wants to play. DayCamp assumes your dog needs structure first. We don't throw your dog into a group of strangers and hope it works — every minute is purposeful behavior work or controlled skill-building.

Behavior Camp is residential — your dog stays for 3 weeks of intensive board-and-train. DayCamp is daily — you bring them in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon. DayCamp is best for ongoing maintenance + slow progression. Behavior Camp is best for an intensive reset.

That's the goal — and we track progression milestones to get them there. Some dogs transition to DaySchool within weeks. Some take months. A small number do better staying in DayCamp long-term. We're honest about your dog's pace.

Yes. Many DayCamp dogs are also enrolled in Private Lessons (for owner coaching at home) or Group Classes (for skill-building in a different context). We coordinate so everything reinforces the same direction.

Maybe — but probably not as a starting point. Severely aggressive dogs typically need Aggression Rehabilitation or Transform Camp first. After they've stabilized, DayCamp can be an excellent maintenance environment.

Every 30 days we do a progress review with you. If we're not seeing the trajectory we expected, we adjust the plan, recommend a different program, or refer out if appropriate. We don't keep enrolling dogs that aren't making progress.

Could DayCamp be right for your dog?

The PD360 Assessment is the fastest way to find out. We'll evaluate your dog and recommend the right starting point — DayCamp, DaySchool, or one of our other programs.
